Memorials are of course very special and very personal. We will try to insert the text as you've written it, but we need to keep the content to about 100 words. If a bit of editing is needed, we will let you know. We will need your own name and email address, as well as the name of your loved one as you would like it to appear, and the dates of life. (Your name and email address will be used only for us to contact you. We will not post this information on the website.)

Please send the text and information by email to memorials@bfotoronto.ca. You can send the text directly in your email, or attach it as a word document.

If you are able to, scan the photo and include it as an attachment to the email. The picture size needs to end up no bigger than the picture in our current memorial section, so we may have to reduce the size of the one you send us.

You can also send a picture through the mail or by courier, along with the text you would like to include. We will then scan the picture and send it back to you. If you do send material this way, please include a stamped self-addressed envelope for us to return. (Although we'll be very careful, we can't assume responsibility for lost photos.) If you'd like to send materials this way, please let us know via email (memorials@bfotoronto.ca), and we'll email you back with a mailing address.
