About Lesson
COVID itself wasn’t a death, but it represented a major loss. It is a loss of a way of life. What we used to have was taken away from us.
- the ability to meet up with your friends and extended family
- the loss of our freedom to move about in our daily life
- the loss of the overall educational experience we’re used to
- the loss of rituals, such as weddings, graduations, and funerals,
- And even lesser “rituals,” such as going to the gym, coffee shop
- a loss of trust in our government
- loss of ability to work in a way that makes sense to us
