Welcome to this self-directed learning resource on Supporting Grieving Seniors. Seniors Supporting Seniors: Building Capacity Through Shared Living, Learning and Grief.

This project was developed by BFO-Toronto and Frameline Productions, with funding from New Horizons for Seniors, a Federal Government of Canada program. The original resource was created in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we have recently updated the materials.

BFO-Toronto has received valuable support and feedback from numerous individuals and organizations working with grieving seniors, and we have involved seniors themselves throughout the development process.

We hope this resource will be helpful to both paid and unpaid workers in understanding the unique needs of grieving seniors.
